Day 15 from Joni

One thing not to do: (this is Joni by the way) I was so hungry for something dessert like...I microwaved a banana with a bunch of that organic peanut butter with honey on top. My thinking was the peanut butter would melt and mix with the honey to make a nice topping for the banana. I don't suggest trying this. Something very strange happened to the banana, the peanut butter never melted and I think the honey evaporated. That's what I get for thinking dessert. Gotta go. Ricky will probably freak when he sees that there is only a tiny bit of his crushed peanuts left!

Okay- so I laughed out loud about your blog post. I have done so well with the no sweets thing, but there are moments... I am very proud of myself for walking away from the DQ stand at the Hulen Mall today with no Snickers Blizzard! I will admit, I have strayed from the fast with eating yogurt- it's helped the sweets cravings. Nothing I can do for replacing the spaghetti and meatballs I want so badly, though :)
I love you, Lord! It's worth it!! BTW, the vegetarian chili turned out really well for us the other night and we ate on it a couple of days.

HAAHAHAHAHHAHHAHAH! I will have to remember not to try that!

I have stayed pretty simple and bought frozen strawberries from the frozen food section at the store and munching on those straight out of the freezer at night is like my favorite thing right now. MMM. I'm afraid that once I get back on a regular diet that dessert is going to taste soooo sweet to me now!

WHERE ARE YOU GUYS? I'm sad here with no blogs to read. I just wanted to bless you and pray that your last day of the fast is amazing and full of God's presence. Nick and I are going to continue the fast through Friday, because we are going to see Kim Walker from Jesus Culture, and we thought it would be a nice way to end things and to celebrate. So, we'll break our fast on Saturday morning. Bless you all!
